Nicholas received his Ph.D. from École de technologie supérieure where his research combined machine learning and collaborative robotics to develop methods for safe robotic freehand medical ultrasound.

As CTO and engineering leader, he has spent the last decade creating unique technologies for the biomedical, food robotics, collaborative robotics, industry 4.0 and additive manufacturing domains.

Nicholas is actively involved in the Montréal startup community, being a mentor at several accelerators, including NextAI, Techstars, Creative Destruction Lab and FounderFuel.

He will be talking about real-world robotics and AI applications!

Elie is an experienced facilitator and certified accredited coach. He uses his skills in engineering and coaching to develop experiential learning programs on sustainability and personal development for student engineers.

He’s currently leading the INgineer Your Path program at McGill University for the third semester in a row, and developing similar programs for the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough in Montreal

Dr. Meyer Nahon is an accomplished researcher and professor at McGill University. His current research projects are based around Dynamic and Control of unmanned aerial and underwater vehicles, motion planning and obstacle avoidance for UAVs and control cable actuation.
